In response to the substantive refusal(s), please note the following:

Applicant, Amazon Technologies, Inc., respectfully submits this Response to the Office Action that issued on November 22, 2019 with respect to U.S. Application Serial No. 88/634,297 for ALEXA (“Applicant’s Mark”).

 

  1. Limited 2(d) Refusal

The Examining Attorney has issued a limited refusal to register on the basis of a likelihood of confusion between Applicant’s Mark as used in connection with specific goods contained in the application with U.S. Registration No. 5,215,208. In response, Applicant herein deletes the goods to which the refusal pertains. Accordingly, Applicant respectfully submits that the limited 2(d) refusal is now moot.
